In WWII women were put into an experiment to examine how their performance would be next to men in combat , eventually the experiment stunned the general stuff, and mixed unites performed actually better than only men units. Women also had the same good willingness to learn in gun batteries. Despite the stereotype, that indicates women are physically weak to perform combat jobs, women met the physical , and psychological standards for this mission. in 1938 there were very few nurses in the military there were only 600 nurses in the army according to the A.N.C and in December there were still less than 1000 nurses in the war, and volunteers who wanted to sign up had to be with a two year hospital training. The nurses had to be a citizen or from an allied country. They were also provided with 144 hour training that trained the nurses, on basic military training administration, organization, sanitation and clinic Women were later started being called Second Lieutenant and also First Lieutenant.
Comfort women in WWII or sometimes also called Military brothels existed in many countries during the war. An example is the Japanese forces who used brothels that their numbers were estimated to be 80000 to 200000 which about 80 percent of whom thought to be Korean. Many girls were forced into sexual slavery were as young as 12 years. Japanese military forced more than 200000 to act as prostitutes in WWII. The military believed that comfort system would prevent soldiers from committing sexual violence toward women of occupied territories. Japanese military forced Asian women into prostitution to maintain military discipline and provide relaxation for soldiers.
